I am currently working with a Utilities Client on 6 exciting Cost Manager Roles. These roles are permanent role and require 3 days a week in the office. Locations: North West England – Cheshire/Manchester/Liverpool/Lancashire/Cumbria To be considered for this role, you must have: Extensive experience in Cost Management, Project Controls, or Programme Delivery. Proficient knowledge of cost management techniques and cost management systems. Exceptional interpersonal skills for relationship building and collaboration across all organisational levels and functions. Proven track record of implementing systems and processes to boost technical capabilities. Good financial acumen and the ability to manage and interpret large data sets. Confident in constructively challenging stakeholders and promoting innovation.Key responsibilities include: Creating and managing the project’s Cost Breakdown Structure, ensuring its alignment with the Work and Organisational Breakdown Structures. Collaborating with PMO, delivery, and Senior Leadership Teams to establish and support robust cost control. Oversee and control commitment, journals, and accruals in partnership with the Project Manager. Analyse the impact of project trends and changes, as well as facilitating timely updates to the project baseline. Implementing forecasting process and conducting regular reviews with contributors to the overall Work Breakdown Structure.
