Elevation Recruitment's Skilled Shop Floor Team are proud to be working in partnership with a leading fabrication business based in Rotherham. Our client is a growing provider of specialist products, systems and services to the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Process Industries.
The successful candidate must be able to work based in the fabrication shop and nationwide as required to suit business needs. Accommodation and food will be provided whilst working away.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm
Salary: £36,000
Overtime: time and a half after 37.5 hours
Overview of the role:
- Read and understand technical design drawing specification.
- Work with stainless and carbon steel.
- Working up to 16 inches.
- Able to fit pumps/fencing.
- Product mechanical assembly to drawings specification.
- Safe use of fabrication & power/hand equipment (to include grinder).
- Adherence/control/completion of fabrication documentation to CE standard.
- Correct use of all PPE.
- Ability to consistently fabricate whilst conforming to all hot work safety regulations.
Skills & Experience:
- Certified Pipefitter.
- 5+ years experience as a pipefitter.
- Rigging/Slinging at advantage.
- Forklift licence/Experience.
- Confined spaces.
- RPE/BA/Experience.
- Must hold a current driving license.
