HGV Class 2 Driver – Edinburgh Airport (Broxburn) – SeasonalFirst Call Aviation is exited to recruit for the world’s largest independent provider of catering services for airlines.As a driver, you are responsible for the safe delivery of our high-quality products safely from the unit to Bristol Airport.Shift : 3 days on 3 days off – 6am to 6pmPay Rate : £16.02Main Duties of the HGV DriverDriving HGV 15 – 18 tonne company liveried vehicles in a secure & controlled environmentCarrying out vehicle checks prior to useLoading and unloading catering uplifts to aircraftLiaison with flight crew and working in collaboration with other ground handling suppliersMaintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicleAdhering to all Road Traffic Acts and additional Airport By- lawsAdditional duties such as Bar and stores packing or search and sealing will be a daily requirement along with any associated paperwork.Plus any additional warehouse dutiesRequirements of the HGV Driver:Valid clean HGV CAT C Driving Licence (up to 3 points will be considered)Digital Tachograph knowledge and possession of a digital tachograph cardDriver CPC qualification essentialPrevious HGV experience desirable, Airport Airside Driving would be an advantageKnowledge of the Road Traffic ActIf you have a LGV / HGV licence (Minimum Class C), Tachograph Card (Tacho Card) and CPC – Drivers Qualification Card please get in touch.
