Our client, a leading global provider of audio-visual and event services, is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join their expanding Residential AV Systems Integration team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to join a world-class AV systems integrator and take on the responsibility of managing client orders and projects from design to commissioning within budget and to the satisfaction of the customer.

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-end AV solutions, ensuring successful project execution through contract management, system design, and hands-on commissioning. Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered within budget and client satisfaction. Manage contract and project timelines, and ensure project execution meets all required standards.
• Collaboration: Liaise with internal departments, contractors, and clients to ensure the smooth running of projects. Address any issues quickly to maintain progress.
• Health & Safety: Ensure health & safety files are in place for each project, and implement safe systems of work.
• System Design: Design AV systems, considering electronics, mechanics, and optics to meet client needs. Leverage proven technology while exploring new solutions.
• Financial Management: Handle all aspects of project financials, including invoicing and variations. Ensure timely payments and avoid financial exposure.
• Procurement: Research and purchase the necessary components for each system, negotiating with suppliers to ensure value for money.
• Technical Integration: Manage the integration of hardware and software within client buildings, ensuring seamless system interfacing.
• Commissioning & Configuration: Perform on-site system commissioning and configuration, ensuring all components function as expected.
• Professional Representation: Represent the company at a senior level, maintaining professionalism and building strong client relationships.
• Expertise Development: Continuously develop your technical knowledge to become an expert in a particular area of project work, serving as a resource for the organization.

Personal Skills & Experience:

• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of Electronics and AV Systems, including components, wiring, and configuration.
• Project Management Skills: Ability to plan, organize, and manage projects from concept to completion. Strong time management and multitasking abilities are crucial.
• Commercial Acumen: Understanding of contracts and commercial processes related to AV projects.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and find effective solutions to unique challenges.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to liaise with everyone from executives to contractors.
• Attention to Detail: Commitment to delivering high-quality, thorough work that meets the highest standards.

Desirable Skills:

• AV Systems Knowledge: Working knowledge of current AV systems and technologies, including AMX, Crestron, Extron, audio DSP, Video Conferencing, KNX, Lutron, etc.
• IT & Networks: Technical expertise in AV equipment design, IT infrastructure, and network integration.
