Job Description

Derby College Group (DCG) are seeking an exceptional individual to join our student experience team as a Resilience Coach. The role involves working closely with students, staff, and external agencies to foster a supportive and inclusive environment that enables students to thrive academically and personally.
The Opportunity
As a Resilience Coach you will work closely with our incredible Pathways and Aspire students. You will provide tailored mental health and wellbeing support to post-16 students with special focus on students with SEND, SEMH and low-level mental health, empowering them to develop coping strategies, resilience, and emotional intelligence.

About you
You will have experience working with young people with SEND and SEMH, in a pastoral or wellbeing capacity. For this role it is essential you hold a qualification in resilience, mental health or another relatable qualification at L3/4 (or equivalent) or above and are familiar with external mental health services and referral pathways.
