BioTalent is proud to partner with a pioneering drug discovery company dedicated to developing transformative treatments that harness the immune system’s power to combat cancer. As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated Cell Biologist at scientist level to join their dynamic and collaborative team. This is an on-site role based in South West London, requiring full-time presence (5 days a week).
Please note: applicants must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship, hold a Ph.D, in Cancer Biology or related field and experience in industry to be eligible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cell culture experiments, with a focus on cancer cell lines.
- Perform biochemical assays, including Western Blot (WB), DNA extraction, and PCR.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive research progress.
- Participate in meetings with senior leadership, including the Principal Scientist, CSO, and VP of Drug Discovery.
Requirements:
- Education: PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Immunology, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture techniques and biochemical assays.
- Industry Background: Prior experience in a drug discovery setting within pharma, CRO, or biotech. Experience in cancer biology is preferred but not essential.
