ROC Clinic is a private healthcare organisation with offices in the heart of Harley Street’s medical district in London and Aberdeen, Scotland. We provide Primary and Secondary Care Services with a focus on Rapid Access, Rapid Diagnosis and Treatment. For businesses, we offer an integrated healthcare service that meets Occupational Health and Private Health needs. We are currently looking for a permanent occupational health advisors to join us from various locations across England in the provision of occupational health services for our clients. Services will be provided from clients’ sites on regular or ad-hoc basis. Role Description As a Occupational Health Advisor you will work closely with the occupational health team to provide high-quality healthcare services to our clients. You must provide accurate written, electronic and verbal reports, observing confidentiality always. The role may involve sickness absence medicals, pre-employment checks, health surveillance, D&A screening and may include site visits and travel. Duties and Responsibilities · Providing healthcare screening, to preventing healthcare problems at work through risk assessment, education and training and other initiatives. · Managing sickness absence. · Pre-assignment, Offshore Medicals, Fit to return to work and Case Management Assessments. · Managing and undertaking a Health Surveillance programme for the workforce. · Drug and Alcohol testing. · Maintaining records & diaries (electronic). · Providing regular activity and performance reports. · Providing other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time from ROC Management. Qualifications and Experience · Registered nurses, registered mental health nurse or practice nurses · Additional qualifications in other relevant fields including health & safety, occupational hygiene, public health · Experienced and comfortable working on own, looking after the OH needs of an entire workforce. Experience in delivery of Occupational Health & Safety in an industrial environment Good computer literacy skills (all Microsoft packages) Ability to communicate verbally and in written form to a high standard Excellent communication skills at all levels, combined with an ability to understand the strategic importance of leadership, innovation, development of staff as well as an inherent drive for results.
