Senior Recruitment Consultant at Bennett & Game Recruitment Limited – IT & Technology
Satcom System Engineer required for a computing systems provider for space satellite and telecommunications based in Guildford. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with a technical background in embedded systems and telecommunications in the space industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and participate in the system engineering process for advanced satellite communication systems, including requirements definition, architecture design, and system validation.
- Develop and optimize digital telecom embedded systems to support satellite applications.
- Perform detailed system-level analyses, simulations, and trade studies to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate storage, processing, and connectivity capabilities into satellites.
- Take part in the development of the payload RF frontend and contribute on signal processing algorithms tailored for space applications.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in the design and implementation of satellite communication systems.
- Knowledge of digital communication principles and satellite communication protocols.
- Familiarity with antenna systems, RF propagation, and modulation techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex communication systems.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary- Circa £80,000+ (Dependent on experience and skillset. Junior candidates will also be considered)
Matching pension contributions up to a maximum of 5% per month.
Holiday entitlement – 34 days (including bank holiday)
Working hours – 9.00am to 5.30pm on Mondays to Fridays
Parking – free access as part of the University parking lot.
