The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We have a variety of positions available within our Design Department, for both Senior and Junior 3D Designers looking to progress their career within the Exhibition and Events Industry. As the business is going through a period of growth, we are looking to expand the team with experienced 3D Exhibition Designers.

The Main Responsibilities will be to develop creative concepts for client’s exhibition stands, events and commercial interiors, preparing technical construction plans ready for handover to our in-house production teams and working with suppliers and organisers to ensure designs are delivered to meet the strict timelines provided and within the limitations and restrictions provided by the budget and venue.

Based within the Design Team and working with the Sales and Project Management Team, you will be involved in the strategic planning of our client experiential marketing activities throughout the year.

Main purpose of job:

– Brief Development – Event R&D in advance of project kick off meeting. Challenge and develop client brief to achieve an agreed concept and budget before the commencement of visualisation stage.

– Client Communication – The successful candidate will need to be able to communicate and present ideas with clients both face to face and within a Teams environment.

– Creative Design – Working from an initial brief you will develop designs using sketches, 2D drawings and 3D renders and package a presentation to deliver realistic 3D renders of the final design concepts to clients.

– Technical Construction Designs/Plans – Following conceptual design, you will transfer your designs into technical construction drawings ready for handover to our in-house production team.

– Specification – Working with the wider team, you will be required to specify materials and finishes, building relationships with existing and new suppliers to deliver products to the production and installation teams.

– Artwork Preparation – Either working with client assets or originating artwork, you will prepare templates and final artwork for client sign-off and move in to print production.

– Cost Management – You will be required to gather quotations for materials and services, that will allow you to deliver the project within an agreed budget to our clients, ensuring correct margins are adhered to.

– Project Management – For Senior Designers with Project Management experience, you will be required to provide full 3D Design and Project Management services for a project. This may include production and installation management, responsible for end-to-end management of the project. This could also include onsite management of the installation team and 3rd party suppliers and final handover to the client.

– Venue & Organiser Liaison – As part of your role, you will need to liaise with venues services and show organisers to ensure your design is suitable for the live environment, that correct installation arrangements have been made, and the job is fully approved from a H&S perspective.

– Timeline – It is an essential skill to be able to manage and meet agreed timelines to deliver the project on time and within budget.

– Team Management – Depending on experience, it may be required to manage Junior Designers, Project Managers and Production and Installation Teams onsite.

– Website / Social Media Updates – Working to a strategic plan, in coordination with the Design Manager and Project Team, you will be involved in creating content for the website and social media pages.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Experience of working within the exhibition industry

2. Highly skilled using design software packages including: SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suites, V-Ray, AutoCAD

3. Experience of working with Microsoft 365, CRM database and spreadsheets.

4. Full UK Driving License and Valid Passport for European travel is desired but not essential for this role

5. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.

6. Self-motivated and able to work under your own initiative to deliver projects.

7. The ability to communicate with clients, suppliers and our in-house design, project management and production teams
