Location: London
Our client, is looking for a commercially focused lawyer to join an international energy company with operations across Africa and Latin America. Based in London, you’ll support a range of legal matters linked to upstream oil and gas activities, working closely with teams in various jurisdictions.
What You’ll Do:
- Advise on strategic development projects, including potential gas commercialisation
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts across operations and procurement
- Support joint venture activities, ensuring alignment with operating and production agreements
- Manage external counsel across multiple jurisdictions
- Help monitor local regulations and provide legal input on projects in execution
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified lawyer (common law), with 5+ years\’ experience
- Background in private practice and/or in-house in the energy sector
- Strong communicator who can work independently and across teams
