Supplier Relationship Management & Continuous Improvement Lead
South East
£76k plus Benefits
An exciting and high profile opportunity has arisen for a Supplier Relationship Management & Continuous Improvement Lead (SRM & CI Lead) to join our Client as they continue to expand and grow.
This pivotal role will interface with Procurement, Quality, Customer Service, Project Management and Contract Management to manage critical suppliers in the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) space.
Your role at SRM and CI Lead will include:
- Improve the performance of main suppliers, OEMs, and their relationship with the organisation, influencing partners and the supply chain to deliver in keeping with project timelines.
- Support Contract Owners, Contract Managers and important partners in all aspects of contract management for high risk and high value contracts.
- Facilitate the contract management process.
- Identify opportunities for, and take the lead on, supplier development activities
- Develop strategic relationships with third-party suppliers.
- Improve overall cost of delivery, integrating OEM, Design, Delivery and Contractor with continuous improvement work.
This position will suit a Procurement, Supply Chain or Supplier Management professional with significant experience managing supplier relationships for large infrastructure or capex projects.
You will have a ‘can do attitude’, enjoy problem solving and be able to develop robust long term relationships.
