Demand Planner

Demand PlannerAlexander Steele is recruiting a Demand Planner to join a well-established and fast-growing food business based in Northamptonshire. This role ensures the alignment of supply and demand through effective forecasting, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Demand Planner to make the next step in their career.Responsibilities:Build excellent working relationship with commercial, marketing and finance team members.Monitor demand trends, identify risks in supply fluctuations, and implement mitigation plans to maintain service continuity.Develop and align short, medium, and long-term demand forecasts with business goals in partnership with key stakeholders.Analyse forecast accuracy by tracking demand vs. forecast, highlighting variances, and driving corrective actions.Report on KPIs including forecast bias, accuracy, and forecast value add (FVA) to support S&OP and continuous improvement.Background Experience: 4+ years experience in demand planning roles, ideally within a food environment.Strong analytical skills with experience in demand planning software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).Must have a strong understanding of S&OP processes and demand planning factors.Excellent Microsoft Office Excel skills.Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders across various levels.What’s on Offer:Paying up to £48,000 (D.O.E) + bonus26 days holiday + 8 bank holidaysExcellent company pensionPrivate HealthcareMonday – Friday (Hybrid)Life assurance x4 base salary For more information regarding this opportunity contact Lomond MacPherson on:Lomond.macpherson@alexandersteele.com / 07900416043
