Strong understanding of the Linux operating system, primarily RedHat for managing, troubleshooting and optimising performance.

Knowledge of scripting (bash, python) for automation tasks and a good understanding of ansible to automate deployment and configuration tasks.

Good experience working with Virtualisation (VMWare) and storage (NetApp) technologies.

Knowledge of containerisation platforms (Docker, kubernetes) would be an advantage

Strong logical troubleshooting skills to evaluate complex problems and devise effective solutions.

Good understanding of monitoring and logging tools to ensure continuity of service.
