Agile Project Manager - Automotive Hardware

Nixor are currently working with a large automotive brand as they look for an Agile Project anager OR Scrum Master who understands the fundamentals of Vehicle component development or the building of Vehicle software products

This Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master will work across 11 squads (each of which has their own dedicated scrum master) to help pull together a cohesive group, support management of releases, organise showcases and have a general overview of change management across the entire program. This role will also support the product backlog across the different squads.

This role will work on the biggest program within this entire global company as it covers the entire platform for the next generation Electric Vehicle hardware that will go into their first fully electric vehicle manufacturing plant in the UK.

Therefore this role requires someone who has a background in Agile Project Management of hardware in an Automotive or Engineering type background.

This is not a software/IT scrum master role, rather someone who understands more of an engineering discipline and has understands things such as the bill of materials, parts pedigree & understands the design and development and test process for the delivery of hardware. However, you will also need experience in delivering through an Agile (Ideally SCRUM) process.

This person will likely come from an automotive, aerospace, defense, or OEM type background and the role offers the opportunity for a to step up to a \”group\” level senior role after the initial 12 month contract.

The role is paying £350 a day Inside IR35 (Circa £70,000 equivalent Perm) and is based a few days a week out of their Gaydon site.
