Grafton Recruitment are looking for a skilled FPGA Design Engineer with over 4 years of experience to join our client team. You will play a key role in supporting the development of innovative FPGA projects ranging from advanced signal processing and core embedded systems to safety-critical solutions. Configuring and Documenting designs to a high professional standard.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex FPGA-based projects on time

Develop complex FPGA architectures and implementations (using VHDL, Simulink, etc.), targeting Xilinx, Intel, and Microsemi devices.

Verify FPGA designs using VHDL and System Verilog/UVM test-bench methodologies.

Utilise design and verification tools such as Mentor Graphics tools (QuestaSim & ModelSim).

Create low-level software (C) to support FPGA testing and system integration.

Do you have hands-on experience in FPGA design and verification?

Are you proficient in VHDL language and comfortable working with FPGA toolsets?

Have you applied your FPGA expertise in industries like automotive, defense, design consultancies or aerospace?, * A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in FPGA design and verification.

You have a deep understanding of FPGA development from concept through verification.

You’re comfortable working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple projects.

You’re detail-oriented, with a high level of technical documentation experience.

Proficiency in VHDL and SystemVerilog for FPGA design and verification.

Extensive experience with Xilinx, Intel, or Microsemi FPGAs.

Strong background in design documentation and configuration management.

Experience working within multidisciplinary teams to deliver technical projects.
