Learning Support Assistant

We are looking for a calm, well organised, caring and hardworking Learning Support Assistant to work in our school.

Are you keen to be part of our wonderful team? The headteacher and Governing Body are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Learning Support Assistant.

The successful candidate must have some experience working with children and ideally experience working with pupils with SEN. An understanding of learning, behavioural and communication difficulties is an advantage. They must be committed to working in partnership with school staff, families and the wider team.

The successful candidate will need to:

• firm, patient, consistent, approachable and flexible

• able to work on your own initiative but also a flexible team player with the ability to build positive relationships

• able to listen to and take guidance from colleagues, specialist teachers and other professionals

• able to demonstrate a commitment to and experience in helping children reach their full potential
