Planet Pharma are partnered with a leading Pharmaceutical client who is seeking an Operational Excellence Specialist for their site in Manchester.

The candidate will be a highly skilled, data-driven professional with extensive experience and deep expertise in the Record to Report area, along with a solid foundation in continuous improvement.

This role will oversee the End-to-End process across various business units and regions. The individual will lead and implement wide-ranging changes in systems and processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness, while enhancing the experience for both internal and external customers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key contributor to global, high-impact strategic projects led by the Global Process Owner organization.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team across functions to manage the End-to-End Record to Report process, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across various functions, fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process re-engineering and continuous improvement within the Record to Report processes in the Shared Service Center.
  • Analyze data to uncover improvement opportunities, develop hypotheses, and, once validated, oversee the change management process to ensure smooth deployment with minimal disruption.
  • Utilize existing tools to efficiently manage the continuous improvement process.

Key Requirements:

Degree (required)* Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration

Degree (preferred) Accounting / Finance / Economics or other relevant degree

Certifications:

Required: CIMA/CPA or equivalent Issuer

Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Kaizen

Work Experience:

Finance and accounting with strong focus on financial closing, reporting and reconciliation

Level: Advanced – 5-10 years
