An exciting opportunity to join us as our Design Assistant has been created to address our growing business needs.

This role would suit someone who is already working at this level or is at Design admin assistant and ready for the next step up. The position covers multi-category clothing and accessories spanning Womenswear, Menswear, and Kidswear. This role will sit across both Chelsea Peers and the wider Renfold brand portfolio.

You will give support to the Design team and wider product team, reporting into our Senior Designer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing technical design files to the required specifications and ensuring these are updated.
  • Working to briefs set by Senior Designer and Head of Product that are effectively executed.
  • Supporting the design and product team in general office admin.
  • CAD and design development for menswear, womenswear, and kidswear.
  • Constant research and reporting on relevant key trends and inspiration.
  • Liaising and building strong relationships with factories and suppliers ensuring constant communication.
  • Follow critical paths and key dates ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Send samples to factories and customers.
  • Assisting with the preparation for sign-off meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working closely with the buying and technical team.

Key Skill Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible with the ability to work at pace in a fast-moving environment.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Self-Motivated.
  • Understanding of print and graphic design; ability to design own prints is advantageous.
  • Trend aware with a strong eye for colour and shape.
  • Can-do attitude and be reactive and flexible with their work whilst using their own initiative.
  • Highly skilled in Adobe Cloud programs especially Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Other:

  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK and be comfortable commuting to Chiswick, London 3 days per week.
  • Full-time with flexible start time (8-10am).
  • 25 Days holiday.
  • Company Bonus scheme.
