As part of UKPS, one of Last Miles brands, youll collaborate with a Multi-Utility Assistant Operative to carry out pressure testing and chlorination of newly laid water mains.You’ll ensure all water networks are installed safely, professionally, and in compliance with UKPS WIRS Method Statements.
We aim to schedule your work within a 2-hour radius of your home address; however, occasional travel requiring overnight stays may be needed.

Assist with Maintenance and Installation: Identify and diagnose leaks, assist with repairs, and install domestic water meters as required.
Liaise and Communicate: Work closely with developers and contractors to deliver a first-class service while maintaining detailed records of work undertaken.
Ensure Health, Safety, and Cleanliness: Conduct on-site risk assessments, comply with health and safety policies, and ensure all job sites are left clean and safe.
Participate in Continuous Improvement: Attend team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions as required, while undertaking any additional duties assigned by management.
Qualifications: Registered with Energy and Utility Skills Register (EUSR) for SHEA Water Registered with EUSR Water Hygiene Card NCO (water) Service Laying Level 2 NCO (water) Main-laying (up to and including 180mm) Level 2 CP Competent Person for SCMC work NCO for mainlaying and service laying (up to and including 315mm) Level 2 Minimum 3 years operational experience in the water industry EUSR or ECS card Full UK driving licence First aid certification NRSWA Operator certification (desirable) Have you got the drive to go to the Last Mile as a Pressure Tester and Chlorinator of Water Mains?
