Job Description * Finishing Manager * Location: South West London * Contract type: Freelance Temp to Perm * Start date: ASAP * Duration: 10 Months to 3 Years * Temp Rate: £250 – £290 per day The Company My client is a privately owned mixed use developer, which over the last 50 years has specialised in the delivery of stylish and unique contemporary refurbished and newly built properties through the UK. The Project Conversion of a Grade II listed former hospital into a development of luxury 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments. You will be working towards achieving completion of the Phase Two units with a further 2 Phases to follow. There is the real opportunity to secure yourself a position to work on the following phases. The Role To work in the position of Finishing Manager reporting to the Senior Site manager and Project Manager Your role will require you to monitor sub-contractors and drive the production, completion and handover of the units. The units are currently at a 1st Fix stage with compeletion targeted on Phase Two by October 2025. Key Requirements: * Liaising on all levels to ensure effective communication is always maintained * Finishing Manager must be able to manage snagging / defects, monitor trades and labour on site, complete reports and report back to the Site / Project Manager * SMSTS, CSCS, FIRST AID About You * You will have gained 2+ years’ experience, ideally working for a developer as an Finishing Manager/Site Manager * Be able to control subcontract packages. * Good level of IT literacy in Microsoft Office packages.
