Role Description
This is a full-time contract or staff role for an Automation Engineer at Impact Engineering in Craigavon, with some limited flexibility for remote work depending on the project phase and schedule. The role involves assisting our customer with the Automation element of project execution for a greenfield chemical API plant. The position requires extensive client-side project experience as well as an in-depth knowledge of Siemens PLC’s, particularly with their integration to Emerson DeltaV.
Note – Due to work restrictions this position is open to EU or British passport holders only.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years working experience as an Automation Engineer in a Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical plant.
- 5+ years’ experience with Siemens PLC, particularly integrating with DeltaV is preferred.
- On-site project experience is essential.
- Willingness to travel to site is essential.
- Process Engineering experience is essential.
- Knowledge of GMPs, regulatory requirements, or computer system validation is required.
- Ability to lead others, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and provide in-depth technical knowledge to non-automation stakeholders is essential.
