Job Description
Senior Mainframe Infrastructure Engineer (CICS)
Rate: Up to £475pd Inside IR35 Via Umbrella
Duration: 12 Month Initial Contract
Location: Remote
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior CICS Engineer to join a leading Bank, supporting the maintenance of the IBM Mainframe and Mid-Range Estate.
Responsibilities:
• Work with cross function teams on the successful delivery of projects, including upgrades
• Upgrade Test and Live CICS environments
• Lead the continuous improvement of the CICS environment including security
• Identify technical risks
• Communicate with senior stakeholders in order to mitigate against an issue
Required Skills:
• Proven experience as a Senior CICS Engineer within Banking and Financial Services
• Experience planning and executing upgrades
• Wider IT infrastructure experience including hardware, networks, data and middleware
• MQ administration experience would be advantageous
