Job Description

InStyle Direct are seeking an Interior Designer to join our London based design studio. We provide design-led furniture packages, bespoke interior design and refurbishment service for private clients, property investors, developers, estate agents & build to rent developers

We are looking for an experienced designer who is ready to deliver multi-faceted interior design projects. You must have exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, be adaptable & self-motivated.

Requirements:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Proficiency in CAD, InDesign, Photoshop and Microsoft office

· The ability to create design presentations in line with the industry standard

· The ability to proficiently manage furnishing projects as a whole including quotation, presentations, space plans, FF&E procurement, documentation and organising logistics

· Ability to create and follow the current budgeting/reporting system run on Excel

· Ability to elegantly work to deadlines and keep calm under pressure

· The ability to work independently with clients, suppliers, our warehouse and installation teams

· To work with the company’s core stock in furnishing packages using our dedicated stock management system

· Experience in the management, sourcing, selection, and design of FF&E on a variety of budget levels

· Experience in creatively developing ideas/concepts and mood boards

· Extensive & current knowledge of fabric and furniture suppliers within the industry

· 2+ years’ Experience in the residential design sector in the UK

· Willing to assist in other projects’ FF&E tasks if required

· Commercial-minded as well as design led

· Commitment to a full-time role based in our Design studio in NW2.

This is an office-based job (with exception of site visits and client meetings) that requires commuting to NW2 London with no parking available on-site.
