Job Title: Media Asset Coordinator / Project Administrator Location: Work from Home for a Birmingham-based company Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent/Full-Time About the role: This role is for a Digital Asset Coordinator / Project Administrator, encompassing photography workflow management, metadata handling, and customer communication. You'll work within the dynamic film and TV sector for a start-up company that supports productions delivering their photographic assets to distributors. Your work will span various projects, from small independent productions to large-scale international films featuring Oscar-winning actors. A key part of your role will be managing large volumes of Behind-The-Scenes (BTS) and unit stills imagery. The company has been operating for seven years, and our founder brings over a decade of experience in producing photographic assets for the film industry. Duties and Responsibilities: This Digital Asset Coordinator role is a great opportunity for you to work directly with the image catalogue of multiple international film and TV productions, oversee project timelines and assist with various administrative tasks around the successful delivery of images to clients. Based in Birmingham, the Company specializes in organising the behind the scenes and unit stills images taken across the course of filming, and facilitating cast and producer approvals via our online web app. We are looking for a Digital Asset Coordinator/ Project Admin who can assist with the organisation and delivery of these images to clients. Primary Responsibilities: * Using software like Adobe Bridge, Lightroom and Capture One as well as our own proprietary software to organise image catalogues and edit metadata information. * Using GIT LFS to manage version control of files. * Problem solving file organisation and image requests in a secure manner. * Curating images to highlight the best options for cast and producers to approve. * Occasional basic image editing (cropping, exposure and colour adjustments). * Exporting of digital assets, such as JPGS from RAW image files. * Managing project backups (keeping them up to date and secure). * Creating and administering client accounts on our online platform. * Project management: ensuring projects are delivered securely and on time. * Effective use of spreadsheets and project management tools (such as Trello) to document projects and their assets. * Communicate with customers about project status and liaising with external teams to co-ordinate delivery of assets. * Creating internal and client-facing training materials to assist with project success measures. * Involved in continuous improvement of our platform and processes (e.g. ideas, testing, etc). To be considered you must have/be: * Experience using photography management software such as Adobe Bridge, Lightroom, Capture One, Photo Mechanic or other similar platforms. * Highly organised and methodical (Very important) * Have attention to detail and ability to think both analytically and logically to ensure processes and file structures are consistent, thorough, and secure. * Demonstrate an understanding of image file types and metadata. * Able to work in the details whilst maintaining an eye on the big picture impact. * Problem-solve and think proactively. * Pick up new skills and learning on the job with resources and support provided. * Deliver great customer service. * Be able to manage your own time and work independently. * Use Word and Excel (or Google Docs and Google Sheets) including basic spreadsheet formulas. * Have strong computer literacy skills, especially using a Microsoft Windows Operating System. * Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Desirable but not required secondary abilities: * Experience using large language models such as ChatGPT and/or an interest in AI. * Experience (even if minimal) of GIT or GIT LFS. * An interest in or experience with Python or other programming languages. This is not a programming role, however, a novice understanding of coding can be advantageous to applicants. You'll use photography management applications like Adobe Bridge, Capture One and Lightroom on a daily basis. You should either have experience with these tools or showcase an aptitude that you can quickly grasp and proficiently use them. You must have proof of right to work in the UK to join us.
