Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK. We provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support, and individuals with SEND.

We are currently looking for a Tutor with Qualified Teacher Status to provide support in the core subjects of Maths, English and Science support pupils who are not currently accessing mainstream education.

Due to the nature of the students, we provide support to, applicants must have experience tutoring core subjects.

  • Duration: ongoing

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months tutoring experience
  • Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box

To be eligible for this role, the potential 1:1 Tutor must:

  • Hold the right to work in the UK
  • Have QTS OR equivalent
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references.
