Team Leader (RCW) - Requirements, Qualified Level 3, Full Car Driving Licence

• To act in the lead role as a Team Leader Residential Childcare Worker, providing care, welfare, safety and security to individuals.

• To support young people with structure and boundaries.

• To work on behalf of the young persons to educate and provide positive advice with any aspect of their health care requirements and consult with health care professionals where appropriate.

• To be aware of and comply with the statutory requirements and all the company’s policies and procedures including those of outdoor activities.

• To maintain a high level of recording and report writing.

• Driving licence

• Level 3 qualification or above in Residential Childcare

• Knowledge of children’s home regulation 2015

• Experience of working in residential childcare provisions (ages 8-17), * GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Residential Childcare: 2 years (preferred)

• Support Environment: 2 years (preferred)
