Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Dental Nurse to support an innovative Dental Practice in Ipswich. Come and join their amazing team in their brand new state-of-the-art dental facility and kick-start your career within a reputable, Social Enterprise.

Contract: Permanent | ASAP Start

Hours: Full-Time and Part-Time options available | Mon – Fri

Salary: from £25,000+ AND £250 SCS Welcome Bonus

About the Role

  • To be part of a wider dental team providing dental nurse support and work alongside dentists, dental therapists/hygienists, receptionists in the care of service users.
  • This will include assisting in the full range of dental care provided to service users of the dental service from supporting with routine examinations to advanced specialist treatments.
  • Effective record taking and treatment, including baseline charting, clinical treatments, and periodontal charting from operator’s instructions.
  • Give oral health and diet advice in line with evidence-based national guidelines, be responsible for promoting organisations values and high-performance standards.
  • Monitor day lists and appointment diary.
  • Collaborate with wider Dental Team, acting within the GDC and contribute towards a strong external image for the service.
  • Take responsibility for personal development, maintaining professional behaviour and performance at all times.

Required:

  • Registered with the GDC
  • National Diploma in Dental Nursing (L3 or equivalent)
  • Experience working as a Dental Nurse
  • Familiar with Dental Software Computer package(s)
