- Partner closely with the sourcing team to ensure fabric and trim sourcing align seamlessly with the strategic garment sourcing vision.
- Spearhead the introduction of cutting-edge fabric technologies and finishes, giving our designs a distinct competitive edge and setting industry trends.
- Drive fabric and trim development in line with the brands ambitious sustainability goals and overarching business strategy.
- Work hand-in-hand with product development and garment tech teams to ensure timely fabric development, ordering, and production within the critical path.
- Oversee global manufacturing consistency, managing a curated fabric library and ensuring the use of approved core fabrics for bulk production.
- Keep a sharp focus on business target margins and range architecture, ensuring fabric and trim developments are cost-effective and unlocking savings through strategic fabric and yarn negotiations.
- Own supplier engagement on testing requirements, maintaining meticulous records of testing and compliance.
- Collaborate with the garment tech team to guarantee all fabric developments meet this brands rigorous technical standards and testing protocols.
