Reinsurance Claims Adjuster (12 Month FTC) London Negotiable Salary + Excellent Benefits We are currently recruiting for a Reinsurance Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a very highly regarded and well-known Lloyd’s Syndicate and (re)insurer. The successful candidate will proactively handle and adjust a portfolio of Reinsurance claims from initial notification through to settlement, providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers at all times. This is a 12 month, fixed term contract role. Key Responsibilities Proactively adjusting standard and complex Reinsurance claims, developing a thorough understanding of Treaty Reinsurance (Cross Class) in the process. Monitoring circumstances that may turn into claims, whether in relation to individual risks or global events, such as major catastrophes or significant losses of interest. Effectively driving claims through to resolution. Communicating proactively with internal and external stakeholders, both in writing and verbally, ensuring excellent customer service to cedants, brokers, follow market, underwriters, actuaries, and senior management.
