We are looking for an Accuracy Checking Technician to join our clients dispatch pharmacy team in Glasgow (G33):

  • Salary: Up to £39,000pa + Bonus scheme
  • Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00 – No weekends, evenings or call shifts!
  • Contract length: Permanent
  • 37.5 hours per week

As an Accuracy Checking Technician, you will quickly become an integral part of the team providing accurate checking of dispensed prescriptions ready for dispatch to patient. Working with at team of up to 20, you will support the delivery of all prescriptions to customers in the required timescales.

As an Accuracy Checking Technician, you will complete checks to ensure company KPI’s are achieved, and patients’ medication is checked and dispatched against tight time scales.

You will need to have your NVQ 3 Pharmacy Services alongside you ACT qualification for this role , you need to enjoy hitting targets whilst still maintaining attention to detail and be happy with a non-patient facing environment.

Accuracy Checking Technician Skills and Experience:

  • Must have gained an Accuracy Checking Technician qualification and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Minimum 3 years\’ experience in a pharmacy environment (hospital, retail or private)
  • Comfortable working with IT systems and experience working with Pharmacy software or systems
  • Fantastic attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting, analysis and issue -resolution
  • Commitment to maintaining Professional and ethical standards
  • Familiar with technology-based service delivery is desirable
