CMD Films produce football-based content across multiple channels for an audience of millions. Requirements Knowledge and skills in multiple aspects of video production Good knowledge of camera operation. Specifically, familiarity with a Sony FX30 and Sony A7IV is desirable Excellent organisational and IT skills Self-confidence and strong assertiveness skills Excellent communication skills to clearly explain ideas and instructions to camera crew Extensive creativity to bring fresh ideas to content London-based/able to travel 3 times a week to London to work in an office, in addition to remote working, or on location Extensive knowledge of the ChrisMD YouTube channel and UK YouTube scene Flexibility Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team Fierce enthusiasm and passion for creating high-quality content Willingness to learn Ability to respond positively to feedback Responsibilities Acting as the head of the camera crew on shoots. Directing freelance camera and sound crew on set. Liaising with members of the production team, determining appropriate camera equipment and settings, and ensuring the team’s creative vision is being fulfilled. Liaise with the Head of Production, Head of Editing, Content Director and Producer to ideate and develop video ideas/shoot planning. Contributing with suggestions of video ideas and opinions with the video ideation team. Taking responsibility for company cameras on shoots. This involves transporting, charging and preparing cameras before and after shoots. Acting as videographer as and when required. Acting as the Digital Imaging Technician (DIT). Backing up and transferring footage to hard drives at the end of shoots. Liaising with the Head of Editing to organise footage handover and hard drives. Liaising with the edit team to ensure the NAS (company storage system) is kept up to date. Writing up a breakdown of the technical aspects of each shoot to provide insight for the editing team. Ad hoc jobs within the company (any other reasonable request given from the Company Director or Head of Production).
