Company Description
InteTrade Limited specialises in the supply of technical equipment for aid and development projects funded by major international bodies such as the United Nations, the International Development Bank, and many others. The technical equipment we supply includes high voltage equipment for transmission lines and substations, testing instruments, laboratory equipment, educational equipment, as well as supplies for other sectors.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Newport Pagnell. You will be responsible for:
- preparing tenders for technical products compliant with International Tendering Procedures for goods
- finding new bidding opportunities
- reading, understanding and comparing technical specifications, identifying suppliers, obtaining and analysing quotations
- preparing bid offers for the supply of packages of equipment for worldwide projects
- co-ordinating with other areas of the business to deliver contracts successfully
The job involves reading and understanding tender documents and requirements for various technical items, extracting specifications and conditions, finding and sending specifications to manufacturers, obtaining quotations and assembling our bid (tender proposal) as per the tender requirements, all in line with the purchaser\’s timelines.
Whether you are a recent graduate or have previous experience, we would be happy to hear from you. This is an interesting and challenging role, with the scope to develop your own abilities. You will work both individually and within an experienced team based in the UK and overseas.
Requirements and desired competencies
- Commercial acumen and business awareness
- Familiarity with international trade, including Incoterms 2020
- Curiosity and willingness to learn about a broad range of technical equipment
- Confident with good verbal and written communication skills, including negotiations with suppliers
- Analytical skills
- Familiar with international competitive tendering (bidding) and FIDIC contract rules as defined by the World Bank, UN etc.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage projects on own time
