Merchandiser 12 Month MATERNITY FTC
Hours: 9.00am – 5.30pm (Monday – Friday)
Role Responsibilities
- Maximise full price sales and profitability through commercial decisions and in season trading.
- Lead strategy and planning process with senior management, providing analysis to support decision making.
- Work with your buyer to plan department strategies; highlighting risks and minimising markdown.
- Review weekly trade, provide insights that can aid future development, suggesting any actions required.
- Oversee the WSSI process including ensuring commitment and OTB is managed through accurate forecasting.
- Manage the critical path with your buyer to ensure deadlines are met, liaise with the Production team to ensure deliveries stay on track and the shipping schedule maintained.
- Oversee deliveries of stock from the DC to retail channels to ensure maximum sell through, identifying opportunities and reacting to sales demand.
- Monthly reforecasts of all channels to be agreed with Finance.
- Be responsible for the Online Concession sales channels, exploring new marketplace opportunities and maximising sales potential across each channel.
- Review and reforecast continuity lines regularly.
- Plan markdown proposals, ensure that terminal stock issues are highlighted with an agreed action plan.
- Promote best use of systems and be a point of contact to resolve issues. Be proactive developing new processes to aid smooth running of the department.
- Manage and develop line reports
About You
- Previous experience in a Head Office Merchandiser role essential.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Advanced excel skills, experience with integrations and Netsuite would be beneficial.
- Demonstrates commercial awareness and knowledge of current trends.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Thrives working in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
- Self-motived, uses initiative and takes ownership
