Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for helping shape the future direction of our company, using your skills to help identify and deliver solutions to solve the problems of our commercial insurance clients. You will work closely with a team of software engineers, but also work alongside stakeholders from across the business and external organisations.Key Responsibilities1. Delivery of Product Objectives Contributes to ensuring the delivery of the product OKRsOwns and delivers product features within a defined scopeTranslates user needs into actionable backlog itemsTracks and reports on product performance and delivery metricsLeads creation of epics and user stories based on shaped solutionsCollaborates with Senior or Lead PMs to define success metricsParticipates in sprint planning and owns delivery trackingTakes a front seat in validating success criteria by engaging with data and applying learnings2. Implementation of Product Ways of Working Applies agile and lean product practices within the teamSupports continuous improvement of team processesContributes to documentation and knowledge sharingEnsures compliance with team-level governance and standardsUnderstands and contribute to discovery artefacts such as:Jobs to be doneCustomer journeysProblem statements and outcomesOutcome/Solution tree – Owning the solution part of the tree, once Shaping has been completed, ensuring that it is up to date.Own specific product area and the deliverables of their product area, coming from the outcomeOwn the timeline of delivery of the features (answer the ‘when’)Actively contributes to shaping by:Participating in ideation and prototyping workshopsReviewing jobs, needs, and assumptionsUnderstanding the product vision & Outcome and ensuring traceability from outcome to PRD/Requirements (PR/FAQ as needed)Creates PRDs and user stories aligned with shaped solutionsWhat skills and experience will I need to bring with me?You’ll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills for the role, although more importantly if you don’t quite have all the skills, you have a passion and willingness for learning.
