Job Title: Graphic Designer

Location: Central London. Office based minimum 3 days / week

Contract: Permanent – Full Time

Reports to: Brand Manager

Purpose of the Role:

As ASK Italian’s Digital Graphic Designer, you’ll be supporting the brand comms team in the delivery of campaigns across multiple channels including CRM, website and social media. You’ll act as a brand guardian, implementing the brand’s visual identity across those touch points. You’ll also have the opportunity to work on and lead the creative development of larger projects such as Christmas, red letter days and supporting on marketing collateral for our brand-new rewards app.

Key Accountabilities:

• Having a solid grasp of the ASK Italian customer and brand to ensure all design elements resonate with our core target audience whilst remaining on brand.

• Creating impactful email designs that deliver our weekly comms plan, landing key messages and driving engagement.

• Inputting on the creative development and execution of campaigns to drive interest and covers during key trading periods such as Christmas, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day and Summer.

• Owning the asset library including seasonal photography, animated content and graphics to ensure consistency across touch points.

• Creating Social Media assets – including supporting on content creation and video editing – working alongside the Assistant Brand Manager to deliver organic and paid content across social platforms including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

• Contributing to wider inspiration and execution both on a national & local scale – offering general support of the evolving team needs and brand direction, including generation of ideas and amplification of key messages. This could involve anything from locally-tailored web assets to event menus to tote bag designs.

• Offering design support to other departments such as the People, [Interior] Design and Restaurant teams.

Experience & Development:

• Design or graphic based degree (or equivalent) with varied work or personal project examples.

• Knowledge and experience of working across both digital and print assets.

• Creative flair to generate new ideas working with both graphics and photography.

• Fully Apple Mac literate with advanced working knowledge of Adobe creative suite, including In-Design, Photoshop and Illustrator.

• Video editing skills desirable – some proficiency in Premier Pro or a willingness to learn.

• Figma knowledge desirable but not essential.

• Ability to present ideas clearly and confidently.

• Strong attention to detail and organisation.

• A team player who enjoys working collaboratively and is open to feedback from others.

• Good time management skills and ability to prioritise effectively when working to deadlines.

• Illustration and free-hand drawing ability is desirable.

• Bonus skills and behaviours – animation, interest in TikTok content creation, interest in Italian food.
