In the marketing team, we have an always on approach to communications primarily through social media and email with enhanced national campaigns such as new menu launches, seasonal periods and calendar days. As part of the Marketing team, our Graphic Designers collaborate with others in the team to build marketing comms that excite, inspire and engage our customers.
Purpose of the Role:
The ASK Italian Graphic Designer will support the Senior Brand Manager and Brand Managers in the development and delivery of all print materials for the brand. Working within the brand guidelines, they will implement the brand visual identity across all touchpoints; menus and restaurant POS, takeaway packaging to develop standout, on-brand communications. As part of the marketing team they will be able to contribute ideas to help make our campaigns engaging and relevant for our target audience.
The successful applicant will be passionate about brands and have creative flair and ability. They will have a print first approach with the ability to design distinctive POS and physical brand assets with some experience across digital. A keen eye for detail is essential along with great organisational skills to keep on top of a busy schedule and manage multiple projects to deliver on deadline.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for designing printed menu suite, in-restaurants comms (table talkers, A-boards, bounce backs etc.), individual restaurant materials (e.g. flyers, newspaper adverts, etc.).
- Support in the development of assets for key campaign concepts including; Menu launches, seasonal campaigns, Christmas, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day.
- Support in the digital assets including: weekly emails, adverts and social/web assets using best practice and new techniques to improve engagement.
- Maintaining a close relationship with the print provider whilst creating and supplying assets for use
- Identify opportunities to improve visual identity, printed and digital communications with a competitive edge.
Experience required:
- Design or graphic based degree (or equivalent) with varied work examples in portfolio
- 1-2 years’ experience ideally working across both digital and print assets
- Strong creative skills with advanced working knowledge of Adobe creative suite, especially In-Design as well as Photoshop, Illustrator & fully Apple Mac literate.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow briefs
- Be able to demonstrate management of multiple projects
- Illustration and free-hand drawing ability is desirable
