E-COMMERCE WHIZZ REQUIRED TO JOIN THE MARKETING TEAM AT SOUTHWESTERN DISTILLERY

Southwestern Distillery (creators of Tarquin’s Gin, Twin Fin Rum & Connie Glaze Vodka) are recruiting a passionate E-commerce Manager. This is a unique opportunity to join our small (but mighty!) marketing team and help spread the word of our award-winning, craft spirits. This role includes the exceptional balance of delivering best-in-class digital experiences and ambitious e-commerce revenue goals across our three (soon-to-be four) brilliant brands.

Founded back in 2012 by self-taught Master Distiller, Tarquin Leadbetter, Southwestern Distillery is proudly Cornwall’s original, independent, family-run distillery. We now have a team of over 70 and have been ranked the UK’s no. 1 independent gin brand for 3 years in a row. We are more than just a gin distillery; we are pioneers and innovators in craft spirits. Driven by a passion for our home in Cornwall and our desire to do things a little differently. We have launched two new brands and still have plenty of exciting plans on the horizon!

WHERE DO YOU FIT IN?

We are looking for someone to take the lead on our direct-to-consumer sales & digital marketing. Reporting to our Head of Brand.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Email Marketing – oversee the weekly newsletter content plan for both campaigns and flows across all 3 brands. Ensuring all activity plans both hit the revenue goals of the channel and stay true to the brand vision. Also, manage CRM including monitoring performance and looking for ways to optimise.
  • Meta Ads – Ownership of Facebook Business Manager, advanced use of Facebook Creative Hub and Ads Manager, creating campaigns, analytics, setting up audiences and expert use of Pixel. Optimising budgets to hit a 4:1 ROAS across all brands.
  • Amazon – Complete ownership of Amazon Vendor Central Account: uploading assets, Amazon store, A+ pages across UK and overseas markets.
  • Amazon Ads: Take ownership of Amazon Advertising in UK and overseas, set up search ads, campaign optimisations, analytics and reporting.
  • Google Ads: Set up and manage competitive Google ads for both our new brands product and experience offerings.
  • Website Optimisation: Refine the user experience across our 3 websites to ensure both a seamless brand and sales journey.
  • Brand partnerships: Build strategic partnerships to connect with new demographics aligned with our brand.
  • Google Profiles: take ownership of our Google Merchant & Google Analytic accounts. Sync to Shopify and social media.
  • E-commerce Maintenance: Take ownership of the product library across all 3 websites. Plus, liaise with our Operations and Customer Service team to ensure smooth product launches.
  • Trade Marketing: Identify opportunities to optimise brand presence on e-retailer sites and Brandbank.
  • Content Creation – Work closely with the Head of Brand to brief and create engaging content for all 3 brands. Plus, create bi-monthly internal newsletters.
  • Reporting – Provide analysis and monthly reports on e-commerce and advertising, with performance benchmarks and KPIs

WHO YOU ARE:

Skills & Experience:

Our ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years digital marketing experience, including the below skills:

  • Facebook Business Manager & Meta Ads
  • DotDigital or Mailchimp – CRM, content planning, scheduling
  • Microsoft Excel – Forecasting and Monthly Reports
  • Amazon Vendor Central
  • Amazon Advertising
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Ads
  • Shopify – UX optimisation, website maintenance
  • Brandbank – preferred
  • TikTok or Snapchat Ads – preferred
  • HTML coding – preferred
  • Adobe Design / Artwork – preferred
  • Photography & Content Creation – preferred

£30k – £40k dependent on experience
