I am looking for a Voids and Planned Works Manager to join a housing association in the West Midlands. The Voids and Planned Works Manager will be responsible for the delivery of the maintenance operations business plan and be responsible for voids and planned repairs. This post offers a generous pension scheme with a match of up to 10%. Voids and Planned Works Manager duties: Manage the day-to-day activity of Trade Supervisors, Trade Engineers and sub-contractors, ensuring that all business objectives are met within overall time, cost and budget constraints. Ensure a strong proactive level of field management both directly and through the team of Supervisors. Liaise closely with support functions within Maintenance Operations to ensure the timely, cost-efficient delivery of customer focussed services. Maintain and build strong internal and external client relationships, working to exceed customer expectations whilst fully meeting contractual requirements and targets. Operate within an assigned budget and deliver agreed financial and operational targets. When required, to support the management and delivery of voids, programmed, and project works. Understand, monitor, and consistently deliver against customer, commercial and internal operational KPI’s. What is required for the role: Qualified in a building related subject to HNC, City & Guilds, NVQ or relevant trades background Knowledge of health and safety legislation (including CDM) and good practice, and experience of applying this knowledge in a repairs and maintenance setting.
