The purpose of the role:
We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team based in Slough.
In this role you will work in a team to prepare equipment for projects. You will check back equipment that has been deployed and clean and service it ready for the next project. As part of this role you may undertake local deliveries and will be trained to use our asset management software.
Key Responsibilities
The key focus areas for the Warehouse Operative role are:
· Prep & de-prep of various lighting & power equipment
· Safe loading & unloading of vans & trucks
· Local deliveries & collections as necessary
· Fuelling of fleet vehicles
· Cleaning of warehouse & work areas
· Use in house hire systems for stock control and rental management
· Contribute to the positive culture within FTVS
What we’re looking for:
- A highly motivated individual with a \”can do\” attitude.
- Experience working in a fast-paced reactive environment – ideally within an outdoor working environment.
- Forklift experience is highly desirable.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving licence.
- Have awareness or previous experience within the broadcast or events industry or have relevant transferrable experience from another sector.
