A well-established company based in Newcastle (County Down) is currently seeking an experienced Administrator to join their team. This is a Full-time, initially temporary position with the potential to be made permanent for the right candidate.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (office based) 32-35 hours per week. Saturday 9am-1pm (on a rota basis, possibly two Saturdays a month) with an hourly rate of £14.
The Role: This role requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience as an administrator.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in contract review and documentation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A focus on business administration, the construction industry, or related field.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a comprehensive Administration service including managing internal and external correspondence.
- Handle all correspondence, both post and electronic mail, on behalf of the management.
- Manage the diary including arranging appointments and meetings within guidelines, to ensure the effective use of time.
- Co-ordinate and organise meetings with external clients.
- Screen telephone calls, taking messages, referring calls, and answering routine queries as appropriate.
- Draft letters and papers.
- Organise corporate hospitality for meetings and small events.
