Business Development Manager (Field based) – Nottingham City

Salary: £50,000- £55,000 + £6,000 Car allowance
Location: Field based ( BB, BL, CH, CW, FY, L, LL, M, OL, PR, SK, SY. WA, WN)
Due to internal promotion we have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our brilliant Mortgage Intermediary team covering the North West of England.
Here at Nottingham Building Society we are doing things differently, supporting our communities with our specialist propositions to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to own their own home. You will support the Society by generating mortgage business from the intermediary market, promoting mortgage products, creating business opportunities, and forming positive business relationships.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a positive and driven Business Development Manager looking for a new challenge; this role suits applicants with a business development background or a strong mortgage background looking to develop into this field. You’ll join a growing team with supportive leadership who will help you to succeed in your new role
Here\\\\\\\’s a taste of what you’ll be doing –
- Promote Nottingham Building Society’s image and products to the professional community to create interest, goodwill and business opportunities
- Personally identify opportunities to develop sales of residential, specialist residential, BTL, LtdCo BTL & RIO mortgages, together with other appropriate products from intermediary firms and contacts
- Provide a tailored ongoing service to all business providers in the intermediary market, particularly key contacts, to maximise the business performance from these relationships.
- You will be responsible for planning and effecting your own structured business development calling and territory planning programme
- Development of regular and consistent support from key intermediary connections (networks, companies and individuals)
- Attainment of all sales targets within a due diligence framework, whilst maintaining a strong service ethos
What we’re looking for –
- Experience in a field sales environment (including prospecting)
- Experience working within Financial Services with experience/knowledge of relevant mortgage products
- First class communication and relationship building skills
- Positive and driven attitude
- Ability to self-motivate, plan and work independently
- Full current driving licence
