We are seeking two Automotive Application Engineers to join our team. This home-based role involves regular travel to customer sites to provide technical support and expertise in the automotive sector.
Locations: Northern Ireland
Key Responsibilities
- Develop tailored solutions for Customers/OEMs.
- Stay updated on automotive market trends.
- Participate in joint development projects and problem-solving.
- Ensure product compliance with industry regulations.
- Provide technical support for sales and commissioning.
- Plan and oversee electric drivetrain projects.
- Analyze vehicle data and conduct prototype testing.
- Oversee commissioning and acceptance of new vehicles.
- Ensure excellent customer service and standardized working practices.
- Assist in future project planning and documentation.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering .
- Experience in field services , engineering , or automotive industry .
- Knowledge of commercial automotive systems and components .
- Basic proficiency in Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow and C/C++ programming .
- Experience with Vector CANalyzer and Vector Toolchain .
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills .
Working Hours
- Monday – Thursday: 8:30am to 16:30pm
