What is the role?
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor. As a Regional HR Advisor you will report directly to the Divisional HR Business Partner and you will cover three Yorkshire regional offices (Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Nottingham) and two further regional offices located in Leicester (North Midlands) and Birmingham (Central).
The purpose of the role is to support the Divisional HR Business Partner in providing a professional and effective HR service to business.
The role will include:
- Providing expert advice on employee relations to your business areas.
- Management of employee relations casework including disciplinary, grievance, capability and attendance management.
- Influencing, supporting and coaching managers on a full range of people management matters.
- Supporting the roll out and the embedding of HR initiatives, project management and driving the effective use of the HR information system.
- Regular travel throughout your business areas to attend various meetings, including senior management meetings, where you will build effective working relationships along the way.
What we need from you?
- Previous experience of working in a multi-site role, with experience of managing a high caseload.
- Experienced and comfortable with providing expert advice across the whole employee relations spectrum.
- Strong employee relations experience with an exceptional understanding of employment law, with the ability to apply this in practice in a commercial way.
- Outstanding communication skills, both orally and in writing with the ability to effectively and confidently communicate with colleagues of all levels.
- Valid UK Driving Licence
