Mechanical Engineer Permanent V-Recruit are excited to be working in partnership with a leading, reputable, and growing Facilities Management company, to recruit an experienced Mechanical Engineer, to join their North-Midland based teams as soon as possible, on a permanent basis. Our client work across all mechanical disciplines including Plumbing, Domestic & Commercial Gas works, Legionella, Air Handling Units, working in all areas of the industry with a good percentage of the works being carried out around the Midlands. A large new contract has been won for a retailer around North Midlands, and this vacancy is to cover these contract requirements. The majority of these works are to carry out service maintenance to high-level heaters in retail stores, and reactive call out and repairs during store opening hours, so some similar experience would be required. Duties to include: * Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices and in line with KPIs. * Carry out reactive repairs as instructed by client and respond within SLA to all work requests in line with client SLA’s/KPI’s. * Responsible for requesting all required parts for jobs. * Risk assessments must be completed before all PPM and Reactive works. * Always maintain the professional image of company through positive presentation, behaviours, and attitudes. * Establish and maintain a good working re…
