Arable Operator for Large Mixed Estate Location: Near Cirencester, Gloucestershire About Us: The Bathurst Estate is a large mixed Estate farming circa 4000 hectares. We are dedicated to utilising the latest equipment and technology to achieve the highest standards of performance and sustainability. We pride ourselves on maintaining a progressive farming operation that continues to evolve and adapt to the changing agricultural landscape. The Opportunity: We are seeking an enthusiastic and conscientious arable Operator to join our dedicated arable team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work within a supportive and dynamic environment. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in our farming operations. Key Responsibilities: Grain Store Management: Oversee the operation of a 40T/drier and manage a 6000T grain store, with additional responsibility for an 8000T on-floor store during the harvest season. Fertiliser Spreading Hedge Cutting Relief Spraying and Drilling Telehandler Operations Stewardship Establishment The Ideal Candidate: Experience: Previous experience in an arable farming environment is desirable although the role is well-suited for an individual looking to expand their knowledge and skills. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as independently with minimal supervision. Be willing to assist with livestock enterprises from time to time. Organised: Strong time management and record-keeping skills are essential for this role. Qualifications: Possession of PA1, PA2, PA4 S, and telehandler ticket is desirable. However, training will be provided for the right candidate. Safety Focused: Commitment to operating machinery safely and adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
