Project Development Manager

Role Details:

• BESS Project Manager – Development
• Remote
• £70k – £80k basic, bonus, Medical, Pension, Healthcare

The Energy Division at ARM is currently recruiting an experienced BESS Project Manager to join a leading Energy storage business. The role is hybrid, with most work being done remotely from home and the London office.

Job Overview:

You will take full ownership of projects from the concept phase through to financial close, meeting cost, time, and risk agreement

Oversee the stage gate process, ensuring seamless project handovers to delivery teams at financial close.

Some of your duties will include:

• Identify and resolve any project risks
• Secure land agreements, working with land, planning, and engineering teams
• Attend site visits
• Support the development of CAPEX budgets
• Maintain and update project management files

What do you need to succeed?

• BESS experience is ideal but not essential, large energy infrastructure projects will also be considered
• Strong experience in the tender process, budget management, and document preparation
• Proven in working closely with business development, working on financial models
