Controls Engineer

Job DescriptionEscape Recruitment’s client in Dunfermline is looking for a Controls Engineer to join their engineering team. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting electrical/control systems, covering everything from new designs to maintaining existing systems.Key ResponsibilitiesReview customer technical requirements.Create and maintain drawings, specifications, , test procedures, and technical documentation.Program and configure Siemens PLCs to meet project needs.Develop and test new designs and prototypes.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in design, programming, and commissioning.Conduct hazard/risk assessments and system testing to ensure reliability.Work closely with mechanical and project engineers to integrate control systems.Provide technical support to internal and external customers.Stay up to date with emerging technologies in control systems and automation.Skills & ExperienceDegree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field (equivalent experience also considered).Proficiency in Siemens PLC programming and configuration.Experience creating electrical drawings, wiring diagr…
