As they expand their footprint across the United Kingdom & Ireland, they are seeking a dynamic and driven Cloud Platform Engineer to join their cutting-edge team. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will:
- Work with cross-functional teams and Cloud Architects to implement complex cloud solutions using the latest IaaS and PaaS technologies.
- Develop automation scripts and cloud-native toolsets using Terraform, GitHub, and Ansible.
- Contribute to building secure, scalable platforms including Kubernetes, API and integration, DevSecOps toolchains, data platforms, CRM systems, and more.
- Support cloud adoption initiatives, performing migrations and enhancing client cloud solutions using agile methodologies.
- Implement observability tools, FinOps practices, and SRE principles to ensure platform reliability and cost optimisation.
A successful Cloud Platform Engineer will have:
- Proven experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes platforms (e.g., AKS, GKE, EKS, OpenShift).
- Strong scripting and automation skills, particularly with CI/CD pipelines.
- A background in DevSecOps, SRE, Agile Delivery, or product-based delivery models.
- A consultative approach with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A passion for continuous learning and staying current with the latest in cloud technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with API integration and security architectures.
- Understanding of advanced cloud networking and monitoring tools.
- Experience delivering platform engineering solutions for enterprise clients.
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is advantageous.
