Mechanical Site Technician Position

Location: Chester

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems on-site, including HVAC, plumbing, and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using appropriate tools and technical expertise.
• Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and contractors to streamline workflow and meet project goals.
• Prepare detailed maintenance reports, documenting equipment performance and suggesting improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project.

Qualifications:

• NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
• Certifications such as City & Guilds or equivalent in mechanical systems and maintenance.
• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance or installation, preferably in an industrial or construction environment.
• Familiarity with industry-specific equipment, such as HVAC, plumbing, or machinery systems.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Valid CSCS Card or equivalent certification required.
