Brand Lead (Brand Transformation)
Global Consumer Brand (£3+ billion turnover)
West Midlands. Hybrid (3/ 2 split)
£75,000 – £90,000 + Package
Please note, this fantastic role is a **12 month FTC**
- To develop a market leading launch for a totally new brand to market
- Develop compelling brand propositions, grounded in consumer insight
- Inspire stakeholders with the new proposition, brand vision and launch. Stakeholders across Brand & Marketing, Category, Trade and Insight
- Own brands long term strategies with clear KPI’s including brand health, customer experience, financial performance, and estate make up
- You will be responsible for identifying new brand & marketing opportunities to build and scale the new brand. Understand how and where to draw insight will be important
- Lead the team of Brand Mangers to deliver robust Brand Management, with clear objectives and KPI’s aligned to the long term Brand Strategy
- They would be responsible for managing one of the single largest budgets within the group a budget. They would be expected to demonstrate both short and long term benefit and ROI of this investment over the course of the new brands early life
There are not many of these type of roles available, it’s a truly interesting role.
You need to be experienced in working on big transformation and innovation projects: launching new brands/ categories.
You’ll be supported by a Marketing/ Campaign team, so deep channel experience/ developing marketing strategies is not needed. This is a true Brand role, so Brand should be the core of your previous roles and experience.
Key skills needed:
- Ability to think strategically about Brand direction
- Extensive experience in brand transformation/ brand launches/ re-brand projects
- Fantastic people skills – engages and effectively leads a high performing team as well as naturally building relationships with other stakeholders
- Excellent influencing skills coupled with the ability to impact across a variety of stakeholders
- Commercial Acumen – Ability to identify and raise issues that may have an adverse effect on the company
- Logical approach to solving problems. Demonstrates an awareness of the wider business issues when making decisions.
