A dynamic and growing law firm is seeking a talented Employment Solicitor to join its expanding Employment Team. The firm is experiencing consistent growth and offers a fantastic hybrid working policy—just one day per week in the office, with the remainder of the week remote, following initial training.

This Employment team consists of five solicitors and has over 360 clients on its retainer service across a wide range of sectors. The firm offers the team a challenging and rewarding work environment.

Our client is now looking for an Employment Solicitor to join its team, providing high-quality employment law advice to a diverse portfolio of clients and handling both contentious and non-contentious work.

About You: To be considered for this Employment Solicitor role, you must have at least 3 years’ PQE, with the ability to hit the ground running on a range of matters, while maintaining a proactive approach to client management and ensuring all advice is commercially focused and practical. You must also be able to contribute to business development to ensure the client base keeps growing. The firm is open to more experienced candidates and is willing to offer a higher salary, although this would require some form of following.

What’s on Offer?

  • Challenging and Rewarding Work: Opportunities to work with over 360 clients from various sectors
  • Meritocratic Progression: Career advancement and salary increases are based on billing and business development success, not just PQE
  • Bonus Scheme: Competitive bonuses for achieving business development and billing targets
  • Flexible Working Environment: A strong emphasis on work-life balance, with only one day per week required in the office (more initially for new starters)
  • Supportive Team Environment: Join a team of five solicitors who work collaboratively and support each other
